The works carried out by Lucas TCS on this project included the following:
- Crushing of 1,500,00t of material at 8mm
- Crushing of 470,000t of material at 60/100mm
- Haulage & train loading of 1,9,70,000t
- Supply of crushing equipment & consumables
- All labour
- Road haulage fleet
- Haul road maintenance
Our services were spread over three pits on the site with a minimum production requirement of 75,000 tons per month. To accomplish this, we utilized several pieces of equipment, including Metso Jaw & Cone Crushers, a Metso Tracked Screen, a 47-ton Excavator, and a Metso Impactor.
Cairn Hill is located on Ingomar Station in northern South Australia, 55km south-east of acclaimed opal mining town of Coober Pedy.
